The club has established the Ruldolf W. and Ans van Der Goot and George Osterman Family Scholarships at Rutgers University. A third scholarship is at Delaware Valley College in Pennsylvania. The van Der Goot Scholarship is a memorial to Ruldolf and Ans who were active memembers.

Both students are in their Senior year majoring in Ornamental Horticulture. Douglas's emphasis is on Landscape Contracting and Management. He has been a Resident Assistant for three years and a Presidential Diplomat for three and a half years. Douglas has been a member of the Landscape Nursery Club for four years and actively engaged in the design and construction of the DVC Flower Show Exhibit. In addition, he was vice president of the Lacrosse Club. Rachel's emphasis is on Floriculture and Nursery Production and Marketing. She is Treasurer of the DVC Floral Society, Historian for the DVC Horticulture Society and co-chair of the A-Day Flower Show Committee. In addition, she is a member of the FFA and Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship.
